The Retros accept no remuneration from the venues (some make a
donation to the charity) nor deduct anything towards expenses (we gratefully accept
free drinks). All cash donated goes into official collecting cans, is counted and
witnessed, and a corresponding cheque is sent to CLIC Sargent who sends acknowledgements
which go back to the venues. We rely entirely on your and the venues, customer support
and generosity to make our efforts worthwhile to the charity.
If you are not able to get to our gigs and would like to make a donation to the charity,
please send a cheque payable to 'CLIC Sargent' to The Retros at 16 Hillcroft Crescent,
Ealing, London W5 2SQ: You will receive an acknowledgement letter from the charity.
